The world of Oscar
Oscar is a great little man who has never stopped dreaming. He lives in a kind of circus where his spring, push, and wind-up toys come to life, telling short stories and performing astonishing feats of skill. A captivating carousel unfolds, where elephants, snails, spiders, acrobatic penguins, juggling seals, mischievous monkeys, crazy motorcyclists, and more take turns on the miniature circus ring. The skill and eccentricity of Silvano Fiordelmondo guide the audience, through gags and transformations, in this whimsical carousel, accompanied by a carefully curated selection of band music as the soundtrack. The sets — elaborate and colorful as always — are designed by Marina Montelli, the company’s longtime set designer. The animals are part of Teatro Pirata’s collection of tin toys, adding charm and authenticity to the performance.
