Brigante e paladino insieme, Robin sta dalla parte dei contadini e dei dispera@: \u201cruba ai ricchi per dare ai poveri\u201d. Difensore del popolo angariato dai potenti, coraggioso furfante che ignora i vincoli del diritto, Robin incarna in s\u00e9 l\u2019aspirazione universale dell\u2019uomo alla libert\u00e0: le sue gesta incarnano la ricerca e l\u2019affermazione di una dignit\u00e0 umana che riscatti una vita marginale e degradata. Raccontare la storia di Robin Hood offre, dunque, l\u2019occasione di porgere ai bambini un messaggio semplice ma di valore universale: le regole vanno rispettate ma quando non sono \u2018giuste\u2019 bisogna trovare il coraggio di dire di no e di opporcisi! Con i modi di un teatro essenziale e un po\u2019 d\u2019altri tempi, fatto di scene povere costruite con materiali semplici, i due attori parlano ai bambini con il linguaggio del racconto per riavvicinarli alla dimensione dell\u2019ascolto; evocano la storia di Robin e, come cantastorie da piccolo borgo, la trasformano, la inventano e ci giocano, se la cuciono addosso e ci si ritrovano dentro \u201cbambini\u201d anche loro, impegnati ad arrampicarsi sugli alberi proprio come Robin Hood e il suo compagno Little John.<br>C\u2019era una volta un famoso bandito che , per sottrarsi alle ingiuste leggi del suo tempo, decise di costruire il suo rifugio sugli alberi, e si ritrov\u00f2 a guardare il mondo che da lass\u00f9 gli sembr\u00f2 piccolo.
